Impact Case
This Year’s Theme: Migration
The competition invites participants to develop innovative solutions that empower migrants in the United States to secure dignified and sustainable work. By tackling critical barriers such as access to stable employment, English language training, and understanding cultural norms in job-seeking and workplace practices. These efforts aim to support their ability to build stable livelihoods, integrate into the workforce, and contribute to thriving, equitable communities.
The competition will center on an impact case from Catholic Charities USA—the Textile Training for Afghan Women program. Student teams will analyze the case, conduct research, and propose innovative strategies, including technological tools and implementation plans, to expand economic opportunities for Afghan women and other migrant populations.
